Medically informed. Personally tailored. Results you can feel.

Peptide Therapy at Asteria Aesthetics

At Asteria Aesthetics, we offer access to advanced peptide therapy programmes across two specialist divisions — SlimZone for medically supported weight management, and ThriveZone for regenerative performance, recovery and aesthetic optimisation. Each division is designed around your body's own biology, supported by evidence-informed protocols, expert guidance, and complementary nutrition and supplementation plans.

SlimZone

SlimZone is Asteria Aesthetics' dedicated weight management division — a medically informed programme that combines the latest GLP-1 receptor agonist therapies with personalised nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle support.

Unlike generic weight loss solutions, SlimZone is built around your body's own hormonal and metabolic systems. Our GLP-1 therapies work with your biology to reduce hunger, stabilise blood sugar, and support sustainable, medically monitored weight loss — for patients who qualify.

Whether you are managing obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiometabolic risk, or simply struggling to lose weight despite your best efforts, SlimZone offers a structured, science-backed pathway to lasting results.

Our Therapies

  • Semaglutide

Semaglutide is a GLP-1 receptor agonist — a medication that mimics a natural hormone in your body called Glucagon-Like Peptide-1. This hormone plays a key role in regulating appetite, blood sugar, and how quickly food moves through your digestive system.

When you eat, your body normally releases GLP-1 to signal fullness and trigger insulin production. Semaglutide amplifies this response — helping you feel fuller sooner, reducing cravings, slowing digestion, and stabilising blood sugar levels. Over time, this leads to meaningful, medically monitored weight reduction.

Semaglutide has also demonstrated benefits in reducing cardiovascular risk factors, including blood pressure and cholesterol levels, in eligible patients.

Important note: Semaglutide is prescribed for individuals who qualify following a full medical assessment. It is most effective when combined with dietary changes and an appropriate activity plan.

  • Tirzepatide

Tirzepatide is a next-generation dual-action therapy that targets two incretin pathways simultaneously — GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1) and GIP (Glucose-Dependent Insulinotropic Polypeptide). This dual mechanism makes it one of the most effective options currently available for weight management and metabolic health.

By acting on both receptors, Tirzepatide produces stronger appetite suppression, greater reductions in food intake, and in clinical trials, greater average weight loss than single-pathway GLP-1 therapies. It also improves insulin sensitivity, reduces liver glucose output, and has shown benefits in patients with obstructive sleep apnea linked to excess weight.

Important note: Tirzepatide is prescribed following a thorough medical assessment. Results vary between individuals and are optimised when combined with eating plan guidance and lifestyle support.

Conditions We Support

  • Obesity & Weight Management

Obesity is not simply a matter of willpower — it is a complex, chronic condition influenced by hormones, genetics, metabolic health, and lifestyle factors. For many people, hunger signalling is dysregulated, making sustained weight loss extremely difficult without medical support.

SlimZone's GLP-1 therapies directly address this by resetting hunger and satiety signals, reducing what is often described as "food noise" — the constant preoccupation with food and eating — and supporting the metabolic changes needed for sustainable weight reduction. Patients who qualify typically have a BMI of 30 or above, or a BMI above 27 with at least one weight-related health condition.

  • Type 2 Diabetes

Type 2 diabetes develops when the body becomes resistant to insulin or cannot produce enough to maintain healthy blood sugar levels. Left unmanaged, it carries significant risks including heart disease, kidney damage, nerve damage, and vision problems.

Both Semaglutide and Tirzepatide were originally developed for type 2 diabetes management and remain highly effective in this context — improving blood sugar control, reducing HbA1c levels, and supporting weight loss that further improves insulin sensitivity. Many patients see meaningful improvements in their diabetes markers alongside weight reduction.

  • Cardiometabolic Risk

Cardiometabolic risk refers to a cluster of conditions — including high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, insulin resistance, and central obesity — that together increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and other serious events. These conditions often develop silently, with few obvious symptoms.

GLP-1 therapies have demonstrated meaningful benefits in reducing cardiometabolic risk factors, with Semaglutide in particular showing cardiovascular risk reduction in clinical studies. For patients with a combination of these risk factors, SlimZone offers a pathway to improved metabolic health alongside weight management.

  • Prediabetes & Insulin Resistance

Prediabetes is characterised by blood sugar levels that are higher than normal but not yet in the diabetic range. Without intervention, a significant proportion of people with prediabetes progress to type 2 diabetes within five years. Insulin resistance — where the body's cells do not respond efficiently to insulin — often underlies both conditions.

GLP-1 therapy used in a preventive context can improve insulin sensitivity, support weight loss, and meaningfully reduce the likelihood of progression to type 2 diabetes. If you have been told your blood sugar is elevated, or you have a strong family history of diabetes, SlimZone may offer an important early intervention.

  • Obstructive Sleep Apnea

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) is a condition in which excess tissue — often related to weight — causes repeated airway obstruction during sleep. Symptoms include loud snoring, witnessed breathing pauses, excessive daytime sleepiness, and morning headaches. OSA is significantly underdiagnosed and carries serious health risks if untreated.

Tirzepatide has demonstrated measurable improvements in sleep apnea severity in clinical trials, with weight loss reducing the physical obstruction that causes the condition. For patients with OSA linked to excess weight, addressing the underlying weight is a clinically meaningful intervention.

Supplement Support

  • Supporting Your Body During GLP-1 Therapy

GLP-1 therapies work by significantly reducing appetite — which is exactly their purpose. However, eating less also means it becomes easier to fall short on essential nutrients, particularly protein. Without adequate protein intake during weight loss, the body can lose lean muscle alongside fat, leaving you feeling weaker and making long-term weight maintenance harder.

SlimZone recommends a targeted supplementation approach alongside your eating plan to protect lean muscle, support your digestive system during therapy, and ensure your body has the micronutrients it needs throughout your weight loss journey.

  • Muscle & Strength Protection

Protein is the most critical supplement during GLP-1 therapy. Reduced appetite often leads to unintentional under-eating of protein, which accelerates muscle loss during weight reduction. A high-quality whey protein isolate or plant-based protein supplement helps maintain lean mass and support strength.

Creatine monohydrate (3–5g daily) is a well-researched addition that supports muscle energy, helps preserve lean tissue during calorie deficit, and may also benefit cognitive energy during weight loss. Electrolytes — sodium, potassium, and magnesium — are frequently depleted when food intake decreases and are important for preventing the fatigue and headaches some patients experience in the early weeks of therapy.

  • Digestive Comfort

Because GLP-1 therapies slow gastric emptying, some patients experience nausea, bloating, constipation, or general GI discomfort — particularly in the early weeks as the body adjusts to treatment. These side effects are usually temporary and manageable.

Ginger (capsule or tea) has strong evidence for reducing nausea. Psyllium husk fibre helps normalise bowel movements and gut transit. Magnesium citrate supports regularity. Peppermint oil (enteric-coated) can assist with bloating and cramping. Your SlimZone practitioner will guide you on the most relevant options for your individual experience.

  • Micronutrient & Metabolic Support

Eating less food means taking in fewer micronutrients. A high-quality multivitamin helps cover this gap. Vitamin B12 is particularly important for patients reducing meat intake or using Metformin alongside GLP-1 therapy. Vitamin D3 with K2 supports metabolic health and muscle function throughout weight loss.

For patients with insulin resistance or prediabetes, additional targeted support including berberine and chromium picolinate may be appropriate — your practitioner will advise based on your health profile.

IV Therapy Support

  • IV Hydration & Electrolytes

Reduced food and fluid intake during GLP-1 therapy can lead to mild dehydration and electrolyte imbalance, particularly in the first weeks of treatment. Symptoms include headaches, dizziness, fatigue, and a general "low energy" feeling that some patients describe as a GLP-1 adjustment phase.

IV hydration therapy delivers fluids and electrolytes (sodium, potassium, magnesium) directly into the bloodstream, providing fast, effective relief from these symptoms and supporting your body through the adjustment period.

  • Energy & Metabolic IV

This B-vitamin and Vitamin C-based drip supports cellular energy production and metabolic function during weight loss. Reduced caloric intake can create subclinical micronutrient gaps that contribute to fatigue, brain fog, and reduced exercise tolerance — symptoms that can make the early stages of a weight loss programme feel harder than they need to.

The Energy IV addresses these gaps directly, supporting stamina, mental clarity, and overall wellbeing during your SlimZone programme.

  • Anti-Nausea IV Support

For patients experiencing significant nausea during the early phase of GLP-1 therapy, a targeted IV combining magnesium, B6, hydration, and electrolytes can provide meaningful relief. While nausea typically reduces as the body adjusts to treatment, this IV option offers practical support for patients who find the adjustment period challenging.

Nutrition That Works With Your Therapy

What you eat while on GLP-1 therapy plays a significant role in the quality of your results. SlimZone includes personalised eating plan guidance designed to work alongside your medication — prioritising lean protein to protect muscle, high-fibre vegetables and complex carbohydrates to support digestive health, and adequate hydration throughout.

Your eating plan is tailored to your preferences, lifestyle, and any dietary restrictions — and is designed to be sustainable, not punishing. Specific plan options and recipes are provided at your consultation and are updated as your programme progresses.

ThriveZone

ThriveZone is Asteria Aesthetics' regenerative performance division — a programme designed for individuals who want to go beyond weight management and invest in how their body repairs, recovers, performs, and ages.

Using carefully selected peptide stacks and complementary therapies, ThriveZone supports everything from injury recovery and training performance, to skin regeneration, hormonal optimisation, and cellular energy restoration. Each protocol is built around your goals, your biology, and the most current evidence in regenerative medicine.

ThriveZone therapies are used in wellness, sports recovery, and regenerative research contexts. They are not approved pharmaceutical treatments, and all protocols are discussed with full transparency by our practitioners.

Our Peptide Stacks & Therapies

  • NAD — Cellular Energy & Vitality

NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is a naturally occurring coenzyme found in every cell of the human body. It plays a critical role in energy production, DNA repair, mitochondrial function, and the regulation of cellular ageing processes. Without sufficient NAD, cells become less efficient, energy production drops, and recovery slows.

NAD levels decline naturally with age, chronic stress, illness, and poor lifestyle habits — which is why many people experience a gradual reduction in energy, mental clarity, and resilience as they get older. NAD therapy is used in regenerative and longevity research contexts to support cellular energy metabolism and overall vitality.

ThriveZone's NAD protocols are used for patients experiencing persistent fatigue not explained by sleep, reduced cognitive performance, low motivation, and slow recovery from physical or mental stress.

Important note: NAD is a coenzyme, not a peptide. It is included in ThriveZone because of its role in regenerative and metabolic health protocols. It should never be described as an anti-ageing cure or instant energy solution.

  • Wolverine Stack — Recovery & Repair (BPC-157 + TB-500)

The Wolverine Stack combines two of the most researched regenerative peptides — BPC-157 and TB-500 — each working through different but complementary repair pathways.

BPC-157 (Body Protection Compound-157) is a synthetic peptide based on a compound naturally found in human gastric juice. Research suggests it supports tissue repair at a local level — protecting injured tissue, maintaining blood flow to injury sites, and supporting tendon, ligament, and gut healing. It is often described as a tissue-protective peptide.

TB-500 is a synthetic analogue of Thymosin Beta-4, a protein naturally present throughout the body. Where BPC-157 works locally, TB-500 is considered more systemic — mobilising repair cells, supporting whole-body tissue regeneration, regulating inflammation, and encouraging new blood vessel formation. Together, the stack supports healing from multiple angles simultaneously.

The Wolverine Stack is used for patients experiencing recurring tendon or ligament injuries, slow recovery between training cycles, persistent muscle soreness, or delayed healing from soft tissue damage.

Research note: Most evidence for BPC-157 and TB-500 is pre-clinical (animal and laboratory-based). Human clinical data is still limited. These are research peptides used in wellness and sports recovery contexts, not approved medical treatments.

  • Glow Stack — Skin, Tissue & Aesthetic Regeneration (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500)

The Glow Stack extends the Wolverine Stack with the addition of GHK-Cu (also written as CHK-Cu or copper peptide) — a naturally occurring copper-binding peptide found in blood plasma, saliva, and urine. GHK-Cu declines with age, and research has linked this decline to reduced skin quality, slower wound healing, and diminished tissue renewal.

GHK-Cu is studied for its role in supporting collagen and elastin production, skin regeneration, wound healing, hair follicle health, and anti-inflammatory activity. It does not work like a filler or surface treatment — it is researched for its ability to improve the underlying quality and function of tissue over time.

Combined with BPC-157 and TB-500, the Glow Stack supports both internal tissue repair and external tissue quality — making it suited to patients with skin ageing concerns, post-procedure healing goals (such as recovery from microneedling or aesthetic treatments), or general connective tissue and skin health objectives.

Research note: GHK-Cu has a meaningful body of cosmetic and dermatology research behind it. Injectable and systemic use is less standardised. All Glow Stack protocols are discussed transparently with your practitioner.

  • Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 — Body Composition & Hormonal Optimisation

Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 (No DAC) form a growth hormone secretagogue stack — meaning they stimulate the body's own pituitary gland to produce and release growth hormone in natural pulses, rather than introducing external growth hormone directly.

Growth hormone plays a central role in lean muscle maintenance, fat metabolism, recovery from training, sleep quality, and skin collagen production. Natural growth hormone secretion declines significantly with age — which contributes to the gradual changes in body composition, recovery capacity, and skin quality that many people experience from their thirties onwards.

This stack is used for patients experiencing difficulty maintaining or building lean muscle, increasing abdominal fat despite a healthy lifestyle, poor sleep quality or non-restorative sleep, slow recovery from training, and reduced skin elasticity. Because the stack stimulates natural GH release rather than supplying it externally, it preserves the body's own hormonal rhythm.

Important note: Ipamorelin and CJC-1295 are research peptides used off-label in wellness and sports recovery contexts. They are not a substitute for approved growth hormone therapy. Potential side effects include water retention and mild changes in insulin sensitivity. All protocols are individually assessed and monitored.

Goals & Conditions We Support

  • Recovery from Injury & Training Stress

Repetitive strain, tendon and ligament injuries, and slow recovery between training sessions are among the most common reasons people seek ThriveZone support. The Wolverine Stack (BPC-157 + TB-500) is the primary protocol used in this context, supporting tissue repair from both local and systemic angles.

Complementary supplementation including collagen peptides, Vitamin C, omega-3 fatty acids, and anti-inflammatory compounds such as curcumin and boswellia further supports the repair environment. IV amino acid and hydration therapy can be added during intensive recovery phases.

  • Skin Health & Aesthetic Regeneration

The visible signs of ageing — loss of skin elasticity, texture changes, slower wound healing, and reduced skin vitality — are closely linked to declining collagen production and cellular renewal capacity. The Glow Stack (GHK-Cu + BPC-157 + TB-500) addresses this at a tissue level, supporting the biological processes that underpin skin quality.

ThriveZone's Glow Stack protocols are used as standalone regenerative support, or as a complement to existing aesthetic treatments — supporting post-procedure healing and optimising longer-term results.

  • Body Composition & Lean Mass

Maintaining lean muscle while managing body fat becomes progressively more difficult with age, as natural growth hormone secretion declines and recovery from training slows. The Ipamorelin + CJC-1295 stack supports the body's own hormonal axis to improve body composition outcomes — supporting fat metabolism, lean mass maintenance, and training recovery simultaneously.

This protocol works best when combined with appropriate resistance training, adequate protein intake, and sleep optimisation — your ThriveZone practitioner will guide you on the full support structure.

  • Chronic Fatigue & Cellular Energy

Persistent fatigue — the kind that is not resolved by sleep, that reduces mental performance and motivation, and that makes recovery from any stress feel disproportionately slow — is often linked to declining mitochondrial function and NAD levels. ThriveZone's NAD protocols are used in this context, with IV NAD therapy and oral NAD precursor support forming the basis of the approach.

NAD therapy is complemented by mitochondrial support supplements including CoQ10, B-complex vitamins, magnesium, and alpha-lipoic acid — creating the metabolic environment needed for meaningful energy restoration.

  • Post-Procedure Optimisation

Whether you have undergone aesthetic treatments, minor procedures, or elective surgery, recovery quality matters for both results and wellbeing. ThriveZone's regenerative protocols — particularly the Glow Stack and IV antioxidant therapy — are used to support tissue healing, reduce prolonged inflammation, and optimise the conditions for recovery.

Please discuss your recent or planned procedures with your practitioner before beginning any ThriveZone protocol.

Supplement Support

  • Foundation Support — Across All Protocols

Regardless of which ThriveZone stack you are on, a foundation of mitochondrial and recovery support is recommended. This includes CoQ10 (ubiquinol form) for cellular energy production, methylated B-complex vitamins for NAD cycling and nervous system health, magnesium glycinate or malate for muscle recovery and sleep, and omega-3 fatty acids for anti-inflammatory signalling and tissue repair.

  • Wolverine Stack Support — Injury & Connective Tissue

To optimise the repair environment alongside BPC-157 and TB-500, key supplements include collagen peptides (Type I and III) as direct amino acid substrate for connective tissue repair, Vitamin C as an essential cofactor for collagen cross-linking, zinc for wound healing and tissue regeneration enzyme activity, and anti-inflammatories including curcumin (phytosomal form) and boswellia serrata.

  • Glow Stack Support — Skin & Collagen

Alongside GHK-Cu, key skin-supportive supplements include collagen peptides, oral hyaluronic acid for dermal hydration, astaxanthin for photoprotection and elasticity, N-acetylcysteine (NAC) as a glutathione precursor, and Vitamins C and E for the skin antioxidant network. Zinc and copper balance s

  • Ipamorelin + CJC Support — GH Optimisation

Because growth hormone is primarily released during deep sleep, sleep quality is the most important multiplier for this protocol. Magnesium glycinate, glycine (3–5g at night), and L-theanine support sleep architecture. Berberine and chromium picolinate help maintain insulin sensitivity, which can be mildly affected by GH secretagogue use. Creatine, electrolytes, and essential amino acids support training performance and lean mass outcomes.

IV Therapy Support

  • IV Hydration & Electrolytes

Baseline support across all ThriveZone protocols, particularly for patients under high training load or in caloric restriction. Supports hydration, electrolyte balance, and neuromuscular recovery during intensive phases.

  • NAD+ IV Therapy

Intravenous NAD+ is used in ThriveZone for patients experiencing significant fatigue, cognitive fog, and slow recovery during regenerative protocols. It directly supports mitochondrial NAD+/NADH cycling and cellular energy metabolism. Evidence in humans remains observational, and effects are variable — your practitioner will advise on suitability.

  • Antioxidant IV — Vitamin C & Glutathione

Used during and after intensive regenerative phases, this IV combines high-dose Vitamin C (a critical cofactor for collagen synthesis) with reduced glutathione (the body's primary antioxidant). Supports tissue remodelling, reduces post-training or post-procedure oxidative stress, and complements both the Wolverine and Glow Stack protocols.

  • Glow IV — Skin Regeneration Support

A targeted IV combining Vitamin C, glutathione, biotin, and trace minerals (zinc, selenium) to support the substrate and antioxidant environment for skin turnover. Used as a complement to GHK-Cu Glow Stack protocols, and suitable post-aesthetic procedures to support recovery and optimise results.

Nutrition That Supports Regeneration

Peptide therapy works best in a body that is well-nourished and appropriately fuelled. ThriveZone includes guidance on an anti-inflammatory eating approach that supports tissue repair, hormonal balance, and recovery — without unnecessary restriction.

Key principles include prioritising lean protein to support tissue synthesis, including anti-inflammatory foods (omega-3-rich fish, colourful vegetables, olive oil, berries), reducing ultra-processed foods and refined sugars that drive systemic inflammation, and timing nutrition around training for optimal recovery.

Specific eating plan guidance and recipes are provided at your ThriveZone consultation and evolve as your programme progresses.
